Just a new post for updates...still fighting with video, so this is all you get for now...

The Millers are still doing well. Maybe even a little better than well, but you don't want to say that cuz then you jinx it right? Anyway, Cohen is great. He's LOVING summer. Anytime he can be outside he is happy. Still being spoiled rotten by his grandparents, but what do you expect? He's offically 18 months. We celebrated his 18 month day by going to the zoo, just Cohen and mommy and daddy. We had a great day, only fell down once and only got bitten by one goose, but that was daddy's fault really, not Cohen's. I'll try to get some pics up soon from that day. He is getting so so big. I can't believe it. I keep saying it's time for another smaller one, but I'm not sure daddy is on board yet with that idea!
Nick's also doing well. We're having some small issues with a renter right now, so that's no fun and taking up some of his extra time, but such is the life of a landlord I guess. He's also applied for another position at Lowes, another promotion, and we decided that the 7th time is a charm so hopefully....we're keeping our fingers crossed and saying all of our best prayers! It's not that he's unhappy where he is, it's just that, well, we like to eat and be clothed and therefore, we could really use a little larger paycheck. We also have some other life decisions that need made and this promotion would be a good first step to help make those other decisions a little easier. But, we are just trying to stay in God's will and do what He wants us to do. He is faithful and he has show his faithfulness in the past and I know he will continue to be faithful for the years to come so we are just leaning on that hope for now. Nick's also staying busy with stuff at church with the youth, keeping up with some college buddies, lots of home improvement projects- including the yard, some golf and trying to make new friends here at home :) He won't like that I said that, but he was all bummed cuz he only used like 38 minutes one month on his cell phone, so he decided that he needs more friends!! I don't think he needs more, he just needs to talk to the ones he has once and awhile! :)
I'm doing great! Lots to keep me busy: Cohen and Nick, work stuff (YFC is still going great- a little slow right now with summer, but slow is okay), church stuff (ladies group, youth, newsletter, etc), stuff with the Bible Study girls (both bible study groups), staying in touch with college friends and all of our home improvement projects and such are keeping me pretty busy. I'm thankful day after day for such wonderful parents and in-laws...they are a life-saver and I don't know what we would do without them. It takes a village, really, that's not just a crazy statement. I'm missing my family: Candis and her family are coming up at the end of June and so I am SO excited to see all of them. And I'm sure we'll all get out to Iowa at some point soon, especially with Logan's senior year coming up. Nothing too new or crazy for me. I'm just trying to enjoy each and every day, because Cohen is growing like crazy and because that's why I took the part time job- to enjoy life more than mearly survive it.
I think that's about all that's new. Like I said, I'll try to add more pics/video ASAP! Thanks for checking in- enjoy your summer's friends!!

On the insistance of my sister, who claims that she simply cannot watch the same video with Cailin one more time, I have uploaded some more video. However, I can't upload a whole lot of them because I've learned that most of my videos are too large. SO until I get my editing software to work, this is the best I can do. Pace yourself...

this first one is Cohen and Daddy playing Superman. Really, it was all the PJ's fault...they inspire the playing right before bedtime...at least that's what Daddy claims...

These next two are both from our rainy day walk. Cohen was pretty determined to move all of the little blossoms off of this sidewalk. I finally got him convinced to just ignore them and leave them there...these are just a couple videos of Cohen in his own little world...

Really, the blossoms were really troubling him, but every time I picked up my camera to try and catch his OCD on film, well, then...just see for yourself...

....well, sometimes mommy gets tackled.

I think that's all for now... I have more, but I guess I have to keep them spaced out for my sisters sake!
